K-SMART3 Reader Series

The Keyscan K-SMART3 reader series is a line of cost-effective 13.56 MHz readers from dormakaba, available in reader and reader-keypad models. K-SMART3 readers read both physical credentials and mobile credentials, and are suited to new installations as well as upgrades and retrofits of existing Keyscan systems using K-SECURE credentials.

K-SMART3 readers are mobile-ready for use with Keyscan mobile credentials and need no added programming to support them. They include added technologies and dedicated functions for Keyscan access control systems: the Keyscan 36-bit format for enhanced reader and credential encryption, anti-tamper heartbeat intelligence that triggers an alarm condition when the signal is interrupted, and auxiliary light-emitting diode (LED) indicators that confirm Keyscan's Present3 and lockdown modes.

The series is compatible with K-SMART legacy readers. Keypad reader models with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) are available in single-gang (K-SMART3KW) and mullion (K-SMART3KM) mount options.
