Barrier-free design in fire doors

The SVI 2000 F & SVA 2000 F product solution provides barrier-free access with fully motorised opening, even in fire doors, without any other security components in the door leaf, such as emergency buffer modules (power reserve modules). Or without remote control units (via BUS technology DCW® or CAN-BUS) in  connection with automatic actuators, such as ED 100/250 with DCW upgrade card.

Easy access with motorised unlocking

As a counterpart to the SVA 2000/F active door leaf lock, the SVI 2000 F really comes into its own when used in conjunction with access control and escape route security systems, as the doors can then be unlocked conveniently from a remote position.

Thanks to the emergency escape function, the door leaves can be readily opened by simply operating the lever handle, while the automatic relocking mechanism ensures secure locking once the door has closed.

With a wide range of monitoring and service functions

The status message of drive dead bolts as well as lever handles can be read on the SVI locks. The signalling functions are particularly suitable for monitoring and ensuring the convenient operation of doors in emergency exit and escape route systems, but can also be used to activate alarm systems or for remote monitoring systems. Once installed, the operating status as well as error messages are visually recognisable via an integrated LED in the lock boxes.

Operational versatility

SVI locks are available in different models with rebated, lobe or flat forends suitable for over-rebated or flush-closing timber doors and narrow-stile doors and offer flexible installation options. They have been approved as emergency exit locks for doors in escape routes and for use on fire and smoke check doors. The SVI 2000 F in accordance with EN 1125 for panic doors with a horizontal push bar can also be used in escape routes.
