RCI 0161 3/4 in. Semi-Mortise Rim

The dormakaba RCI 0161 is a 3/4 in. (19 mm) semi mortise rim strike, a fail-secure electric strike designed to operate with Pullman latch rim exit devices. It accommodates 1/2 to 3/4 in. (13 to 19 mm) latch projection and is non-handed. Fail-secure means the strike stays locked when power is removed and releases when power is applied.

Strength and endurance: the strike is rated 1,500 lbf (6,672 N) static and 70 ft-lb (95 J) dynamic and is tested to 500,000 cycles. It is UL 1034 (Underwriters Laboratories) burglary-resistant listed. The stainless steel body gives strength and a clean architectural appearance, and it has a hazard-free radius design.

Installation: slotted horizontal holes on the faceplate allow secure mounting and correct alignment with the exit device, with horizontal adjustment for proper latch alignment. Lockdown holes give a secure mount. The strike operates on 12 or 24 VAC/VDC and draws 200 mA at 12 VDC. It is covered by a 5 year limited warranty.
