Gesundheitscampus NRW Bochum

With the new university buildings on the healthcare campus in Bochum, North Rhine-Westphalia is developing into a hub of medical expertise. With the new building complex the state has come a little closer to fulfilling its ambitious goal of bundling excellence and expertise in the fields of medicine and health care in a unique consolidation in Europe and the world. Upon the completion of the buildings, the college of healthcare can now provide a new learning centre for the students divided until-now across five locations in Bochum.

There are approx. 25,000 square metres of gross floor space with approx. 750 rooms in two buildings for the studies of ergotherapy, midwifery, speech pathology, care and physiotherapy. The events building has 4 lecture halls, six conference rooms, a library with 40,000 items of technical literature media, 15 modern seminar rooms and a cafeteria designed for 800 daily lunches.
