The dormakaba RCI 125kHz "Pyramid" Reader Series includes the RCI Pyramid P-300-H-A and P-500-H-A, each a 125 kHz proximity reader for standard security access control. The P-300-H-A is a mini mullion reader; the P-500-H-A is a single gang mount RCI Pyramid reader.

Based on proven contactless digital radio frequency identification (RFID) technology, RCI Pyramid readers interface with a wide range of electronic access control systems by complying with either the legacy Wiegand protocol or the bi-directional Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP). They offer value-add features such as MAXSecure™ and fleaPower™ and can support several proximity card and tag technologies.

Both readers have a contactless read range up to 5 in. (127 mm), operate on +5 to 16 VDC, have a four-state light-emitting diode (LED) indicator and are suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
