Gitcon Model 2

Portable

Because of its portability, the G-2 offers public and private fleets responsible for high value and high risk cargo the ability to quickly deploy high-security solutions for in-transit goods. Carriers operating dedicated fleets can apply the G-2 for shippers on demand, while the technology can also be a valuable option for short-term rental vehicles or shipping containers sourced to meet seasonal freight demands.

Sturdy

The G-2 has been engineered to meet the requirements of ISO/PAS 17712, 2006 as a high-security seal. The main lock body is constructed from 316 stainless steel, making it highly resistant to attack, while a Santoprene™ weather guard provides additional protection against shock.

Programmable

The G-2 is designed to limit and control container entry by using either a code entered at the touchpad or by the presentation of a valid transponder card. Upon clear definition of your organization as it pertains to security levels, locks, users and access, parameters are programmable via Gitcon Access Management PC software.

  • Portable security and access control, ideal for containers and interior and perimeter fences
  • Randomly generated seal number for instant seal status
  • Easy to use, patented "traffic light" system of LEDs
  • Audit and programming data transferred via IrDA wireless connection
  • LED display for operating commands, seal/date/time confirmation

Gitcon Model G-50

Vandal Resistant

The G-50 is a robust, externally mounted mechanical slamlock designed for installation on container bodies utilizing either swing or roll up doors. A choice of common handle and mounting plate designs allow for the simple retrofit of existing assemblies. Tamper resistant mounting hardware prevents the handle from being removed from the outside.

Dependable

With all critical components being fabricated from 316 stainless steel, the G-50 is engineered to provide years of heavy usage, even when subject to the environmental rigors associated with commercial vehicle loading doors.

  • Short-travel locking action - easier to operate than original door hardware
  • Manual slamlock - once handle is returned to proper closed position it is locked
  • Location to apply tamper seal for additional load integrity
  • Supplied with industry standard small format interchangeable core cylinder - core can be removed without taking lock off door. Cores can be keyed alike, keyed randomly, or master keyed. Can also be supplied with removable thumb turn cylinder
  • Installs in under 30 minutes

Gitcon Model G-152

Access Control

Electronic access control is one of the few tools at your disposal to proactively prevent unauthorized entry to your containers. As a component of your overall security program, your system can be designed to grant access only to the individuals you select. Access cards can be programmed to only open specific locks, during specific times, or for a pre-determined period of time. With this type of system in place, you have the highest level of access control, tailored to meet your business needs.

Flexibility

The G-152 has been designed to operate in one of two operating modes, providing maximum flexibility without sacrificing security. Locks can be programmed to function as:

  • Transponder Mode
  • Code Mode
  • Accountability

Statistics show that approximately 80% of cargo losses are due to internal theft. Electronic access control provides accountability throughout the mobile supply chain, as both authorized and unauthorized access events are captured by time and date, giving you immediate visibility in the event of a loss. One of the most effective deterrents against internal theft is the fear of being caught.

  • Short-travel locking action - easier to operate than original door hardware
  • Manual slamlock - once handle is returned to proper closed position it is locked
  • Randomly generated seal number for instant seal status
  • Easy to use, patented "traffic light" system of LEDs
  • Audit and programming data transferred via IrDA wireless connection

Gitcon DXT-22

The DXT-22 "Post Office" is a line-powered Ethernet-enabled communication hub that transmits and receives data between the user's ID badge and the host Gitcon Software. The DXT-22 assures accurate and timely audit information and is easy to use: the user places the ID badge on the DXT-22 and the DXT-22 audits and re-programs the user's ID badge in less than 5 seconds. The DXT-22 Post Office is unattended - operation does not require on-site supervision. The LED screen displays simple operating commands. A key feature is the DXT-22's ability to generate automatic email notices to the security administrator when select events are detected, i.e., Access Denied, Deleted User ID Badge Presented at Lock, Wrong PIN Code Entered.

The DXT-22 can be conveniently located utilizing desktop or wall mounts, inside or outside installation. If service is interrupted from the server, the DXT-22 Post Office continues to record and store transponder audits.
