System 6000 Access Control

Key identification, verification and interrogation: Identifies key type, user and issue/expiration dates, and generates key-use reports (smart, memory, and Mifare Classic (4-byte NUID) 1K and 4K credentials only).

With all Saflok™ multi-technology locks, System 6000 interrogates smart, memory and Mifare Classic (4-byte NUID) 1K and 4K credentials and produces reports of up to 1,000 of the most recent uses, showing:

• Which locks the credential attempted to open (successfully or unsuccessfully)
• Why the credential could not open certain doors
• Which locks require battery changes
• Which locks have privacy activated

Handheld LPI (Lock Programmer/Interrogator): A portable, one-at-a-time method for accurate lock programming and interrogation, as well as key diagnostics. Connect the LPI interface probe on one end of the device to an interface board inserted into the lock.

Cancel-a-Key-ID (individual key control): Cancels specific keys without affecting or canceling other keys in use.

Extensive reporting: Reports can be viewed on screen, saved to a file or printed. Reports include:

• User and authorization
• Transaction history
• Lock and key interrogation

Point-of-sale:

• Magstripe: writes ISO/ABA format on tracks I and II of magnetic cards
• RFID: RFID credentials can be written using ISO/ABA format on sector II with Track II data

Additional applications:

• Charging at vending machines or private garage facilities
• Time and attendance activities
• Watchdog functions

Variable features: When smart or contactless credentials are used, the variable key feature lets one key be encoded to access multiple doors. This is useful for assigning a key to staff members or contractors who need access to a specific list of doors.

For added security, these credentials record activity that can be interrogated and printed.

System Requirements

Saflok System 6000™ software installs on most Windows-based PCs from the installation CD-ROM. It uses the industry-standard TCP/IP network protocol, so properties can plug into their existing Ethernet networks.
