Barrier-free and secure access solutions in a sustainable and completely renovated city hall

After a profound renovation, with respect for the preservation of its historical heritage, Roeselare's town hall is once again ready for the future. Roeselare's town hall is a fine example of a building where doors have to meet opposing requirements: on the one hand, easy access to the public areas and, on the other, securing information and property.

During opening hours, visitors are given free access to the entrance hall, reception area and waiting rooms. The offices and meeting rooms of City Hall employees are always locked after passage, so that unwelcome visitors cannot have access. In the event of an emergency, the doors must always be able to be opened in the evacuation direction.

How do we provide smooth and safe access to the Town Hall?

The sliding panels and side screens of the automatic sliding doors are equipped with swing door fittings that allow the wings to swing open outwards in case of panic. In normal circumstances, the door functions as a standard sliding door.
Thanks to thermal insulation, the SST FLEX Green automatic sliding door contributes greatly to the energy efficiency of one of the most sustainable city halls in the country.
The fire doors of not freely accessible rooms are provided with access control and reliably closed by the surface-mounted TS 93 or invisibly integrated ITS 96 slide channel door closers
