dormakaba Staff Key Validator is a keycard management solution that brings greater security and efficiency to hotel staff key card management. Using multi-layer, personal identification number (PIN) based authentication, Staff Key Validator reduces the administrative workload typically associated with keycard management and mitigates the risk posed by lost, stolen or shared keycards.

How it works: Staff keycards are created and managed centrally in Ambiance™ Access Management Software and validated automatically through the employee's shift. Staff keycards can be canceled or deactivated in Ambiance. Staff Key Validator also records staff access events and activity logs and collects electronic lock battery status information.

Installation: Designed for flexible installation at one or multiple staff access points, Staff Key Validator supports scalable and secure operations across the property. Ambiance Access Management Software can support up to 25 Staff Key Validators per property.
