Thomas Farmer

I cut my teeth in consumer goods, managing commercial projects that maximised company share price – Coca Cola’s purchase of Innocent c. £200m – and navigating the transition from print to digital revenues at Guardian Media Group with £25m P&L responsibility.

Following a short career-break to read Law, I ‘fell into’ the manufacturing industry, where I supported UK brick manufacturers’ £120m revenue growth, over 4 years, driving demand among architects, contractors and merchants.

During COVID, I built a niche marketing consultancy, working with building products and telecoms businesses. I joined dormakaba in 2022 to lead the Marketing function for a 12-month maternity cover. In 2023 I was appointed to lead the Product Management and Specification functions and a permanent role on the UKI senior leadership team.

Outside of work, as the father of two young children, my passions for DIY, callisthenics, HIIT, cooking and fine wine have been put on hold, while I climb trees, water fight, and sing out of tune with my daughters. Occasionally known to ‘dad-dance’!
