ILCO 770 Lock

The ILCO 770 is a discontinued magstripe electronic hotel lock from the dormakaba Ilco brand. On March 13, 2019, dormakaba announced the retirement of its Ilco and Saflok magstripe line of products, which includes the Generation E-760, 770, Solitaire Series, MT Mag, ädesē and Quantum Mag. This line of electronic hotel locks has served the hospitality and multihousing markets since the 1990s.

Effective March 13, 2019, Ilco and Saflok magstripe locks are no longer offered for retrofit or new construction projects.

Replacing magstripe locks with radio frequency identification (RFID) locks gives a property the features and benefits of RFID technology: keycards that do not demagnetize, a path to mobile access solutions, remote guest check-in options, a low-maintenance sealed reader, real-time alerts, and RFID audits that track staff activity, efficiency and performance.
