Ambiance Cloud Access Management Software

Ambiance™ Cloud Access Management Software is dormakaba's cloud access control solution for hotels, built to simplify and streamline hotel operations. Whether a team manages one hotel or multiple properties, Ambiance Cloud gives full control over guest and staff access, room locks, perimeter security and more, from anywhere, at any time.

No local servers: As a cloud-based access control system, Ambiance Cloud needs no local servers. It uses Amazon Web Services (AWS) for cloud services and provides automatic updates, encrypted backups and reliable system maintenance, with scalable performance and security for hotels of all sizes.

Integration: A built-in PMS Bridge interface connects Ambiance Cloud with an on-premise property management system (PMS) and other systems.

Credentials: Ambiance Cloud supports radio frequency identification (RFID) credentials, mobile keys and digital wallets, and supports dormakaba's Bluetooth® enabled locks.

Functionalities

Ambiance Cloud is built on the same core as the on-premise Ambiance solution. The main functionalities are listed below.

  • Lock and access control: Bluetooth lock support, lock programming, auditing and specialty key management (failsafe, diagnostics, toggle/unlock and more)
  • Property and system configuration: user-defined room, suite and access point setup, plus system settings such as guest registration defaults, security settings and encoder management
  • Role and staff management: configurable roles, staff key creation, access tracking and access management profiles (schedules, shifts, grouped access points, common and restricted access)
  • Integration and usability: elevator and amenities management, key creation via the web client or a third-party PMS, intuitive workflows and online help
