The dormakaba RCI DKPS Power Supply Series converts 120 to 240 VAC, 50 or 60 Hz input into a continuous 2, 4 or 6 amp supply at 12 or 24 VDC for access control and egress door applications. Three models are available: DKPS-2A, DKPS-4A and the DKPS-6A, a 6 amp access control power supply.

Supervised operation: each RCI DKPS power supply has two supervisory outputs (AC power fail and battery fail), and the power distribution controller board adds two more (DC fail and status). These outputs can be connected to remote access control units to monitor power supply operation. Supervisory outputs use Form C relays.

Protected outputs and standby power: the power distribution controller board provides electronic over-current protection on the voltage outputs, 4 on the 2 amp model and 8 on the 4 and 6 amp models. Where the application permits, the DKPS series offers several standby battery options to keep power flowing for a specified period during an AC power failure.
