E-Plex 7900 systems can support up to 100 gateway hierarchies per network.

Per gateway hierarchy

• Up to 100 locks per gateway hierarchy*
• Up to 32 locks connected directly to the gateway
• Up to 8 repeaters per gateway, with up to 32 locks connected per repeater
• Locks can be up to 2 hops (2 repeaters) from the gateway; example: Gateway, Repeater 1, Repeater 2, Lock

*Note: total hierarchy limit of 100 locks per gateway. While it is technically possible to create a larger hierarchy than 100 locks, dormakaba strongly recommends limiting a gateway hierarchy to 100 locks or fewer to ensure performance and reduce system overload and lag.
