From the Abano Terme headquarters to the Milan headquarters, the project integrates advanced technology to guarantee accessibility, traceability and perimeter protection. A bespoke approach, designed for a sector in which regulatory compliance is crucial.

A company access control project for the pharmaceutical sector

The project started off in Fidia Farmaceutici’s headquarters in Abano Terme (PD), and was then extended to other sites, including the Milan site shared with Fondazione F. The complexity of the production sites required an in-depth risk analysis and the adoption of bespoke technology solutions.

The Coach Webdigital access control platform enables personalized access management and future implementation of dynamic workflows, ideal for regulated environments. The pharmaceutical security solutions included the installation of turnstiles Kentaur with 9104 readers, vehicle barriers with interlocking and license plate readers, and Argus 40 gates with 90 01 readers in reception.

To improve accessibility, SST FLEX automatic doors with integrated intruder system and 91 04 BLE readers were introduced at collection points. The Safe Route system, which is UNI EN 13637 certified, guarantees security at emergency exits.

When it comes to attendance tracking, the Abano site has approximately 100 readers and 25 96 20 terminals connected to the company’s databases, integrating personnel flows with the payroll system.

All company access control functions are accessible to various departments (HR, IT, HSE, Facility Management), with dedicated logs that reflect the personalized and scalable approach of dormakaba systems.
