A company access control project for the pharmaceutical sector

The project started off in Fidia Farmaceutici’s headquarters in Abano Terme (PD), and was then extended to other sites, including the Milan site shared with Fondazione F. The complexity of the production sites required an in-depth risk analysis and the adoption of bespoke technology solutions.

TheCoach Webdigital access control platform enables personalized access management and future implementation of dynamic workflows, ideal for regulated environments. The pharmaceutical security solutions included the installation of turnstilesKentaurwith9104readers, vehicle barriers with interlocking and license plate readers, andArgus 40gates with90 01readers in reception.

To improve accessibility,SST FLEXautomatic doors with integrated intruder system and91 04 BLEreaders were introduced at collection points. TheSafe Routesystem, which is UNI EN 13637 certified, guarantees security at emergency exits.

When it comes to attendance tracking, the Abano site has approximately 100 readers and 2596 20terminals connected to the company’s databases, integrating personnel flows with the payroll system.

All company access control functions are accessible to various departments (HR, IT, HSE, Facility Management), with dedicated logs that reflect the personalized and scalable approach of dormakaba systems.
