With the purely mechanical operation of the lock, the expensive wiring on the door can be avoided. Installation or upgrading is therefore particularly simple – the existing mortise lock merely needs to be replaced by the SVP 5000 emergency escape lock with automatic locking action.
SVP locks are available in different models suitable for over-rebated or flush-closing timber doors and also narrow stile doors. They are flexible in terms of their installation position thanks to the non-handed (universal) trip latch.
