RFID Encoder GEN II

The dormakaba RFID Encoder GEN II is a key card encoder that operates with dormakaba's multifamily facility access management platform to authorize access throughout the facility. It securely encodes radio frequency identification (RFID) keycards, fobs, wristbands and other access media for residential suites, apartments and common areas.

Connectivity: The encoder connects by USB or directly to an Ethernet network through its TCP/IP interface, with no software to install on the client workstation. It is powered through the USB interface (5 V) or by Power over Ethernet (PoE).

Credentials: As an RFID card encoder, it supports RFID keycards and fobs (ISO 14443-A), including MIFARE Ultralight C, MIFARE Plus EV2 and MIFARE DESFire EV3 credentials, and dormakaba enhanced security encryption. MIFARE Plus EV2 should be used with the enhanced security mode available in Community software.
