dormakaba recognized in the 2025 SIA New Products and Solutions Awards

Friday, April 11, 2025

LAS VEGAS, April 7, 2025 – dormakaba was recognized by the Security Industry Association (SIA) as a two-time awardee at the 2025 SIA New Products and Solutions (NPS) Awards, the flagship awards program presented in partnership with ISC West recognizing innovative security products, services, and solutions.

dormakaba was selected as the 2025 winner of the Design, Diagnostics, and Installation Tools category for its EntriWorX™ Insights and honored April 2 during an award ceremony on the Bridge Stage on the ISC West show floor. EntriWorX Insights provides transparency and efficiency, making it possible to maintain door systems proactively based on historical data from a single, centralized dashboard.

A key part of the award-winning solution was the introduction of Connector One, a device offering seamless integration for IoT-enabled doors. A small but powerful device, Connector One communicates telemetric data about dormakaba’s automated openings to EntriWorX Insights or the customer’s building management system. As a result, customers can take control of their automatic doors individually by knowing exactly what is wrong with them, the moment it happens, and fixing the problem locally or scheduling maintenance before it becomes a problem.

The company was also selected as the 2025 winner of the Lock and Key Solutions category for its CenconX™ One-Time-Code (OTC) Safe Lock, a new device-driven keyless ATM locking solution. The win builds on the success of the dormakaba Axessor Apexx IP Safe Lock in the same category in 2024.

CenconX streamlines operations and improves efficiencies for cash-in-transit (CIT) and ATM service providers. The solution integrates key features of dormakaba’s established Cencon platform, such as OTC and Multi-Tenant functionality, and also delivers newer functionality such as automated code transmission via Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) and close seals while replacing physical credentials with using a device. These functionalities can all be conveniently managed through the dormakaba Safe Locks mobile app and are part of the new Apexx Software platform.

“This year’s SIA NPS program has had another fantastic year with amazing new products and solutions presented to our judging panels,” said Christine Bergeron, chair of the SIA NPS Awards Committee and senior director of global physical security technology at Visa. “Thank you to our expert judges and committee members for your dedication to the program and lending your expertise and valuable time to contribute to a successful 2025 SIA NPS program.”

“The SIA NPS Awards are a renowned global platform for highlighting new offerings each year, and earning recognition is an impressive accomplishment,” said Elisa Mula, vice chair of the SIA NPS Awards Committee and founder and protection management specialist at EM Designs. “SIA applauds this year’s winners, who impressed our judges after an extensive process of tech demonstrations and panel-driven judging.”

“SIA congratulates the winners of the 2025 SIA NPS Awards,” said SIA CEO Don Erickson. “Each year, NPS presents the most cutting-edge products available on the market today, and our judges’ dedication, support and thorough consideration are invaluable in maintaining it as the most trusted awards program for launching new security technology solutions.”

Since its inception in 1979, SIA NPS has been the security industry’s premier product awards program. New products are reviewed by a panel of judges with extensive industry experience, and in 2025, following significant deliberations, the 38 judges presented awards for technologies covering 33 product and service categories.
