Full Terms and Conditions
1.0 Promote
1.1 The Promoter is dormakaba Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 14067969466) of 12-13 Dansu Court, Hallam VIC 3803 ("Promoter" or "dormakaba").
1.2 This Promotion is conducted under the following permits where required:
(a) NSW Authority No: TP/05195
(b) SA Permit No: T26/1149
(c) ACT Permit No: ACT TP 26/01481
1.3 By participating in this Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2.0 Definitions and Interpretation
2.1 In these Terms and Conditions, unless the context otherwise requires:
"Eligible Entry" means an entry generated in accordance with clause 6.0.
"Eligible Product" means a product listed in Schedule 1.
"Eligible Purchase" means a purchase satisfying the requirements of clause 6.2.
"Guest" means a person nominated by a Winner pursuant to clause 7.3.
"Immediate Family Member" means a spouse, de facto spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparent, grandchild or any person residing in the same household.
"Prize" means a prize described in clause 7.0.
"Promotion" means the dormakaba 2026 Caulfield Cup Experience Promotion.
"Promotion Period" means the period specified in clause 3.1.
"Winner" means an entrant whose Eligible Entry is selected and validated in accordance with clause 10.0.
2.2 Headings are included for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
2.3 A reference to the singular includes the plural and vice versa.
2.4 A reference to a person includes an individual, company, partnership, trust, association or other legal entity.
2.5 Where examples are provided, they are illustrative only and do not limit the interpretation of the relevant clause.
3.0 Promotion Period
3.1 The Promotion commences at 12:01am (AEST) on 1 July 2026 and closes at 11:59pm (AEST) on 31 August 2026 ("Promotion Period").
3.2 Only Eligible Purchases invoiced during the Promotion Period will qualify for entry.
3.3 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, delayed, incomplete, illegible, corrupted, misdirected or incorrectly recorded entries.
4.0 Eligibility
4.1 Entry is open to Australian-based trade customers who:
(a) hold a valid dormakaba Australia trade account;
(b) are registered members of the dormakaba Rewards Program before the close of the Promotion Period;
(c) purchase Eligible Products during the Promotion Period; and
(d) maintain their trade account in good standing at the time of the Draw and Prize award.
4.2 For the purposes of this Promotion, an account is considered to be in good standing where it is not suspended, cancelled, in arrears, subject to collection action or subject to any unresolved dispute.
4.3 Employees, directors, officers, management, contractors and agents of the Promoter and their Immediate Family Members are ineligible to enter.
4.4 Participation in this Promotion is subject to the dormakaba Rewards Program Terms and Conditions. Where any inconsistency exists between the dormakaba Rewards Program Terms and these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.
4.5 Entrants are responsible for obtaining any approvals, permissions or consents required from their employer or principal to participate in the Promotion, accept a Prize and attend any associated event.
5.0 Eligible Products
5.1 Eligible Products are limited to the products listed in Schedule 1.
5.2 The Promoter reserves the right to amend Schedule 1 where reasonably necessary due to product discontinuation, replacement, administrative error or similar circumstances.
6.0 Eligible Purchases and Entries
6.1 Each Eligible Product purchased during the Promotion Period will generate one (1) automatic Eligible Entry into the Promotion.
6.2 To qualify as an Eligible Purchase:
(a) the purchase must be invoiced during the Promotion Period;
(b) the purchase must be recorded against an eligible dormakaba trade account;
(c) the purchase must be fully paid; and
(d) the purchase must not subsequently be cancelled, refunded, credited, reversed or returned.
6.3 Multiple entries are permitted.
6.4 There is no limit on the number of Eligible Entries an entrant may receive.
6.5 Entries are automatically generated through dormakaba's sales and account management systems. No manual entry form is required unless otherwise advised by the Promoter.
6.6 The Promoter's records will be deemed final in determining the number of Eligible Entries allocated to each entrant.
7.0 Prize Details
7.1 There are five (5) Prizes to be won.
7.2 Each Prize will be awarded to one eligible Winner.
7.3 Each Winner may nominate one Guest who must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
7.4 Each Prize consists of:
(a) two (2) tickets to attend the dormakaba 2026 Caulfield Cup Experience to be held in Melbourne, Victoria on Saturday 17 October 2026;
(b) return economy class airfares for the Winner and their Guest between Melbourne and the Australian capital city airport nearest to the Winner's usual place of residence, as determined by the Promoter; and
(c) two (2) nights' accommodation for the Winner and Guest from Friday 16 October 2026 to Sunday 18 October 2026 at accommodation selected by the Promoter.
7.5 The maximum value of each Prize is $4,000.
7.6 The total maximum Prize Pool value is $20,000.
7.7 Prize values are correct as at the date of publication and are inclusive of GST where applicable.
8.0 Prize Conditions
8.1 Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, refundable or redeemable for cash.
8.2 Travel dates are fixed and cannot be changed, varied or extended by a Winner or Guest.
8.3 Winners and Guests must travel on the dates specified by the Promoter.
8.4 If a Winner is unable or unwilling to travel on the dates specified by the Promoter, the Prize will be forfeited in its entirety.
8.5 If a Winner's nominated Guest is unable or unwilling to travel, the Winner may nominate an alternative Guest, subject to the approval of the Promoter and provided sufficient time remains to amend travel arrangements.
8.6 The Promoter reserves the right to determine all travel arrangements, including airlines, flight schedules, accommodation providers, ticket allocations and event access arrangements.
8.7 Winners and Guests are responsible for ensuring they hold suitable identification and satisfy all airline, accommodation and venue entry requirements.
8.8 The Prize does not include any costs, expenses or items not expressly specified in Schedule 2.
8.9 Any additional costs incurred by a Winner or Guest are their sole responsibility.
8.10 The Winner is responsible for ensuring their Guest complies with these Terms and Conditions.
9.0 Event Attendance Conditions
9.1 Attendance at the dormakaba 2026 Caulfield Cup Experience is subject to the rules, conditions and entry requirements imposed by event organisers, venue operators, accommodation providers, airlines and other service providers.
9.2 Winners and Guests must comply with all lawful directions issued by the Promoter, event organisers, venue operators and authorised representatives.
9.3 Winners and Guests must conduct themselves in a safe, responsible and respectful manner at all times.
9.4 The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry to, remove from, or exclude from any component of the Prize any Winner or Guest who:
(a) behaves in a disruptive, offensive, aggressive, abusive, unlawful or inappropriate manner;
(b) is intoxicated or under the influence of illicit substances;
(c) poses a risk to the safety or wellbeing of themselves or others;
(d) damages property;
(e) breaches any venue condition of entry; or
(f) breaches these Terms and Conditions.
9.5 Any Winner or Guest removed from an event or Prize component pursuant to clause 9.4 will forfeit the remainder of the Prize and no compensation will be payable.
9.6 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, injury or inconvenience suffered by a Winner or Guest arising from their failure to comply with venue requirements or lawful directions.
10.0 Draw Details
10.1 The Draw will take place at dormakaba Australia Pty Ltd, 12-13 Dansu Court, Hallam VIC 3803 at 12:00pm (AEST) on 14 September 2026.
10.2 The Draw will be conducted electronically, manually or by another random selection process determined by the Promoter.
10.3 This Promotion is a game of chance and skill plays no part in determining the Winners.
10.4 Five (5) Winners will be drawn at random from all Eligible Entries received during the Promotion Period.
10.5 Each entrant is eligible to win one (1) Prize only.
10.6 Where multiple Eligible Entries belonging to the same entrant are drawn, only the first valid winning entry will be awarded a Prize and any subsequent Prize will be re-drawn.
10.7 The Promoter's decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
11.0 Winner Notification
11.1 Winners will be notified by telephone and email within two (2) business days of the Draw.
11.2 Winners may be published on the Promoter's website or through other media channels where required by law or permit conditions.
11.3 Winners must confirm acceptance of the Prize within five (5) business days of notification.
11.4 Winners must provide all information reasonably required by the Promoter to facilitate travel, accommodation and event arrangements.
11.5 Failure to respond, provide required information or accept the Prize within the specified timeframe may result in forfeiture of the Prize.
11.6 Where a Prize is forfeited, the Promoter may conduct a redraw in accordance with clause 12.0
12.0 Unclaimed Prizes and Redraw
12.1 The Promoter will take reasonable steps to contact Winners using the contact details available to the Promoter.
12.2 If a Prize remains unclaimed, forfeited, declined or otherwise unavailable for award, a redraw may occur.
12.3 Any redraw will take place at dormakaba Australia Pty Ltd, 12-13 Dansu Court, Hallam VIC 3803 at 12:00pm (AEST) on 21 September 2026.
12.4 Redraw Winners will be notified by telephone and email within two (2) business days of the redraw.
12.5 Where required by law, redraw Winners will be published in accordance with applicable permit requirements.
12.6 Any redraw Winner will be deemed a Winner for the purposes of these Terms and Conditions.
13.0 Verification and Disqualification
13.1 The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries, purchases, account status, identity and eligibility of any entrant.
13.2 The Promoter may require an entrant to provide documentation reasonably required to verify eligibility.
13.3 The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who:
(a) breaches these Terms and Conditions;
(b) provides false, misleading or fraudulent information;
(c) manipulates or tampers with the entry process;
(d) engages in conduct intended to improperly influence the Promotion;
(e) submits an entry that does not satisfy the requirements of these Terms and Conditions; or
(f) is otherwise determined by the Promoter to be ineligible.
13.4 Entries associated with purchases that are cancelled, refunded, credited, reversed or returned may be deemed invalid.
13.5 If an entry is determined to be invalid after a Prize has been awarded, the Promoter reserves the right to require the return of the Prize or the value of the Prize.
13.6 Failure to comply with a request for verification within a reasonable timeframe may result in disqualification.
14.0 Publicity
14.1 As a condition of accepting a Prize, Winners agree to participate in reasonable publicity and promotional activities associated with the Promotion.
14.2 Winners consent to the Promoter using their name, business name, image, likeness, voice, photographs, video footage and statements for promotional, marketing, publicity and media purposes.
14.3 Such use may occur in any media format throughout Australia without further reference, payment or compensation to the Winner.
14.4 Where a Winner's consent is required by law, the Promoter will obtain such consent before publication.
15.0 Privacy
15.1 The Promoter collects personal information to administer the Promotion, verify eligibility, contact Winners, arrange travel and accommodation, award Prizes and conduct related promotional activities.
15.2 If the requested personal information is not provided, the Promoter may be unable to process an entry or award a Prize.
15.3 Personal information may be disclosed to airlines, accommodation providers, travel agents, event organisers, contractors, professional advisers and service providers assisting with administration of the Promotion.
15.4 Personal information may also be disclosed where required or authorised by law.
15.5 The Promoter's Privacy Policy is available at www.dormakaba.com/au-en/privacy-policy.
15.6 Entrants may access or correct their personal information in accordance with the Promoter's Privacy Policy.
16.0 Liability
16.1 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable legislation.
16.2 Subject to clause 16.1, the Promoter excludes all liability for any loss, damage, injury, expense, delay or inconvenience suffered by an entrant, Winner or Guest arising directly or indirectly from:
(a) participation in the Promotion;
(b) acceptance or use of a Prize;
(c) travel associated with a Prize;
(d) attendance at any event;
(e) cancellation, delay or rescheduling of flights, accommodation or events;
(f) acts or omissions of third-party suppliers; or
(g) any circumstances beyond the Promoter's reasonable control.
16.3 The Promoter is not responsible for technical failures, telecommunications issues, system outages, data corruption or other events affecting the administration of the Promotion.
16.4 To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter's liability is limited to replacement of the Prize or payment of the value of the Prize.
17.0 Force Majeure and Prize Substitution
17.1 If any component of a Prize becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond the Promoter's reasonable control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute all or part of the Prize with an alternative benefit, experience, service or arrangement of equal or greater value.
17.2 Circumstances beyond the Promoter's reasonable control include, but are not limited to:
(a) natural disasters; (b) severe weather events; (c) industrial disputes; (d) government restrictions; (e) public health emergencies; (f) venue closures; (g) event cancellation; (h) transport disruptions; and (i) force majeure events.
17.3 No compensation will be payable in connection with any substituted Prize component.
17.4 Where an event forming part of the Prize is cancelled, postponed or materially altered, the Promoter reserves the right to vary the Prize accordingly.
18.0 Taxation
18.1 Any taxation consequences arising from acceptance of a Prize are the sole responsibility of the Winner.
18.2 Winners should seek independent financial, taxation or legal advice regarding any tax implications associated with acceptance of a Prize.
18.3 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax liabilities, duties, charges or obligations incurred by Winners or Guests.
18.4 The Promoter makes no representation regarding the taxation treatment of any Prize.
19.0 General Conditions
19.1 The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion where reasonably necessary to do so, subject to any regulatory approvals required.
19.2 If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
19.3 Failure by the Promoter to enforce any right, power or remedy does not constitute a waiver of that right, power or remedy.
19.4 Entry into the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
19.5 The Promoter's records and decisions relating to the Promotion are final and binding, subject to any rights available under applicable law.
19.6 The Promoter may communicate with entrants electronically regarding the administration of the Promotion.
19.7 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
19.8 The courts of Victoria shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any dispute arising in connection with the Promotion.
19.9 These Terms and Conditions, together with Schedule 1 (Eligible Products) and Schedule 2 (Prize Schedule), constitute the entire terms governing the Promotion.
SCHEDULE 1
Eligible Products
For the purposes of clause 5.1 of these Terms and Conditions, the following products are designated as Eligible Products and qualify for entry into the dormakaba 2026 Caulfield Cup Experience Promotion.
Subject to clause 5.2, each Eligible Product purchased during the Promotion Period and satisfying the requirements of clause 6.2 will generate one (1) Eligible Entry into the Promotion.

Schedule Notes
Each Eligible Product purchased during the Promotion Period will generate one (1) Eligible Entry into the Promotion.
Eligible Entries will only be awarded for purchases that satisfy all requirements of clauses 4.0, 5.0 and 6.0 of these Terms and Conditions.
Products that are subsequently cancelled, refunded, credited, returned or otherwise reversed will not qualify as Eligible Purchases and any associated Eligible Entries may be removed by the Promoter.
The Promoter reserves the right to correct typographical errors, product descriptions, product codes and administrative inaccuracies contained within this Schedule.
The Promoter reserves the right to substitute, remove or amend products listed in this Schedule where reasonably necessary due to product discontinuation, replacement, administrative error, product rationalisation or circumstances beyond the Promoter's reasonable control.
Any amendment to this Schedule will be published by the Promoter and, where required by law, notified to the relevant permit authority.
SCHEDULE 2
Prize Schedule
For the purposes of clause 7.0 of these Terms and Conditions, the following Prize Schedule applies to the dormakaba 2026 Caulfield Cup Experience Promotion.
1.0 Prize Pool Summary
1.1 There are five (5) Prizes available to be won.
1.2 Each Prize will be awarded to one (1) Winner.
1.3 Each Winner may nominate one (1) Guest aged eighteen (18) years or older to accompany them.
1.4 The total maximum Prize Pool value is $20,000.
1.5 The maximum value of each individual Prize is $4,000.
1.6 Prize values are based on recommended retail values and estimated travel costs as at the commencement of the Promotion Period.
1.7 Actual Prize values may vary depending on the Winner's usual place of residence, airfare availability and accommodation costs.
2.0 Prize Description
2.1 Each Prize consists of:
(a) Two (2) tickets to attend the dormakaba 2026 Caulfield Cup Experience to be held in Melbourne, Victoria on Saturday 17 October 2026;
(b) Return economy class airfares for the Winner and their nominated Guest between Melbourne and the Australian capital city airport nearest to the Winner's usual place of residence, as determined by the Promoter;
(c) Two (2) nights' accommodation for the Winner and their Guest from Friday 16 October 2026 until Sunday 18 October 2026 at accommodation selected by the Promoter; and
(d) Access to all hospitality inclusions forming part of the dormakaba 2026 Caulfield Cup Experience.
3.0 Event Inclusions
3.1 Subject to availability and event arrangements, the dormakaba 2026 Caulfield Cup Experience may include:
(a) Admission to the 2026 Caulfield Cup Race Day;
(b) Access to a dormakaba corporate hospitality suite, marquee, function room or similar hospitality facility;
(c) Food and beverage package as determined by the Promoter;
(d) Participation in dormakaba-hosted activities, entertainment and prize draws conducted during the event; and
(e) Other event inclusions determined by the Promoter from time to time.
3.2 The Promoter reserves the right to vary event inclusions where reasonably necessary due to venue requirements, supplier availability, operational requirements or circumstances beyond the Promoter's reasonable control.
4.0 Travel Arrangements
4.1 Travel dates are fixed and cannot be altered.
4.2 Winners and Guests must be available to travel on the following dates:
(a) Departure: Friday 16 October 2026; and
(b) Return: Sunday 18 October 2026.
4.3 Airfares will be booked by the Promoter.
4.4 Flight schedules, airlines, routes and airports will be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
4.5 Flights may include direct or indirect services.
4.6 Economy class travel applies unless otherwise determined by the Promoter.
4.7 Winners and Guests are responsible for ensuring they possess suitable identification and satisfy all airline requirements.
5.0 Accommodation
5.1 Accommodation will be arranged by the Promoter.
5.2 Accommodation is intended to be provided at Hotel Chadstone Melbourne MGallery or an accommodation provider of similar standard selected by the Promoter.
5.3 Accommodation is based on two (2) nights' stay.
5.4 Room allocation, bedding configuration and accommodation provider selection remain at the sole discretion of the Promoter.
6.0 Prize Exclusions
6.1 Unless expressly stated otherwise, the Prize does not include:
(a) Travel insurance;
(b) Airport transfers;
(c) Ground transport;
(d) Parking fees;
(e) Meals outside those included as part of the Event;
(f) Room service;
(g) Mini-bar purchases;
(h) Laundry services;
(i) Personal purchases;
(j) Spending money;
(k) Incidental hotel charges; or
(l) Any other expense not expressly specified in this Schedule.
6.2 All additional expenses incurred by a Winner or Guest are their sole responsibility.
7.0 Prize Conditions
7.1 Prizes are not transferable.
7.2 Prizes are not exchangeable.
7.3 Prizes are not redeemable for cash.
7.4 If a Winner is unable or unwilling to travel on the dates specified by the Promoter, the Prize will be forfeited in its entirety.
7.5 If a Winner's nominated Guest is unable to travel, the Winner may nominate an alternative Guest, subject to the approval of the Promoter and provided sufficient time remains to amend travel arrangements.
7.6 Any forfeited Prize may be awarded to a redraw winner in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.
8.0 Prize Substitution
8.1 If any component of a Prize becomes unavailable for any reason beyond the Promoter's reasonable control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute that component with an alternative benefit, experience or arrangement of equal or greater value.
8.2 No compensation will be payable in connection with any substituted Prize component.
