Windows Update KB2267602 Resolves Recent Ambiance and Community Issues
Microsoft has released a new Windows update(KB2267602)that addresses issues some Ambiance(Hospitality)and Community(Multifamily Housing)users previously experienced following recent Windows updates.
Who may have been affected:
Some properties using Ambiance or Community on Windows systems that had recently installed prior Windows cumulative updates.
Not all users or environments were affected, and other products or software were not impacted.
What was observed:
Difficulty logging in or accessing the application
“This site can’t be reached” errors
Inability to create or encode new keycards
Resolution:
Installing the latest Windows update(KB2267602)has been confirmed to resolve these issues in most environments.
We recommend that IT administrators ensure Windows systems are fully updated to include this release.

After installation, restart the system and reopen Ambiance or Community using Google Chrome (not Microsoft Edge).
