Ambiance Cloud is built on the same proven core as the on-premises Ambiance solution, delivering advanced cloud-based hotel access control functionalities:
- Comprehensive lock and access control, including support for Bluetooth-enabled hotel locks, lock programming, auditing, and advanced key management (failsafe, diagnostics, toggle/unlock)
- Flexible property and system configuration, with user-defined setup for rooms, suites, and access points, as well as configurable system settings such as guest registration defaults, security policies, and encoder management
- Advanced role-based access control and staff management, including configurable user roles, staff key creation, access tracking, and access management profiles with schedules, shifts, grouped access points, and restricted access zones
- Seamless integration and usability, supporting elevator and amenities access control, key creation via cloud-based web client or third-party PMS systems, and intuitive workflows with built-in guidance
Components
Your Ambiance Cloud starter kit includes the following core components for cloud-based hotel access control:
• Ambiance Cloud Access Management Software for remote access control and system administration
• dormakaba RFID Encoder (GEN II) for secure keycard and credential encoding
• dormakaba Maintenance Unit (programmer) for lock configuration and system setup
• Ambiance Cloud Gateway for secure communication between cloud platform and on-site devices
Additional components required to complete your hotel access control solution (sold separately):
• dormakaba electronic hotel locks for guest rooms and staff access points
