Product Summary

SVP locks automatically lock doors after each closing cycle for both convenience and security. The automatic deadbolt throw of 20 mm ensures that the door is always locked in accordance with property insurance requirements. The additional anti-thrust engagement of the clawbolt latch provides two-point locking for enhanced security. Meanwhile, the emergency escape function allows the door to be opened at any time in the exit direction by simply operating the lever handle. Mechanical opening from the outside remains possible at any time by unlocking the profile cylinder insert.

Range of monitoring functions

The feedback contacts of the lock allow the latch, latch bolt, cylinder and lever handle all to be monitored. The signalling functions of the SVP 2000 are particularly suitable for monitoring and ensuring the convenient operation of doors in emergency exit and escape routes, but can also be used to trigger alarm systems or for remote monitoring.

Convenient access thanks to motorised unlocking

The motor lock really comes into its own when used in conjunction with access control and emergency escape route security systems, as the doors can then be unlocked with ease from a remote position. Where usage frequency is high, the lock can be permanently disengaged. By combining it with automatic actuators such as the dormakaba ED 100/250, barrier-free access solutions tailored to specific application requirements can be implemented.

Securely locked even in the event of a power failure

The electric sequential control combined with a door contact adds further anti-tamper protection. Auxiliary functions, such as alarm time settings and operating times, can be implemented and adjusted via the SVP-S 2x DCW motor lock control unit, while a buffer battery module maintains operational reliability in the event of a power failure.

Operational versatility

SVP locks are available in different models suitable for over-rebated or flush-closing timber doors and also narrow stile doors. They are flexible in terms of their installation position thanks to the non-handed (universal) trip latch. They have been approved as emergency exit locks for doors in escape routes and for use on fire and smoke check doors.
