The ability to initiate a lockdown of the entrance before intruders gain access has become a critical step in protecting people and property.

The solution:
The dormakaba 01 Series Operator with Emergency Lock Function enables rapid lockdown at the push of a button.
Once activated, the door closes and locks immediately using a built-in, fail-safe electric lock, with a visible status indicator confirming activation. Motion and presence sensors are deactivated simultaneously, preventing the door from reopening and helping to prevent access to unauthorised individuals.
When the situation is resolved, access is easily restored via the unlock button or the building’s egress control system.
