Fast-access corridors for the entrance to the Star Alliance Lounge

Founded in 1997, Star Alliance is the world's largest airline alliance.

Together with its member airlines, it offers access to over 1,000 lounges worldwide, providing travellers a comfortable space to relax before flights.

The Star Alliance lounge in Terminal 1 at Charles de Gaulle spans 1,300m² and accommodates over 300 guests.

The installation of access control lanes has enhanced the customer experience by enabling automated entry and exit, improving access efficiency.

Star Alliance adopts dormakaba's Argus Lounge eGate to control traffic flow

dormakaba set-up the Star Alliance Lounge with 2 eGate Argus Air Lounge, with a finish carefully chosen by the architect to blend in with the Lounge's decor.

The eGate Argus Air Lounge is equipped with detection cells guaranteeing uniqueness of passage. This ensures reliable control when entering the Star Alliance lounge.

Intuitive user guidance ensures easy access.

The Argus' width of passage allows easy access for wheelchairs.

The bi-directionality of the Argus makes it possible for a person to come in or leave the Star Alliance lounge through the Argus.

The Argus controls who is authorized to enter the space.
