dormakaba, the global leader in access control and security solutions, has again strengthened its reputation as a solid, tech-savvy security product partner – this after it successfully implemented a range of access control products at the Windhoek-based new premises belonging to the University of Namibia’s National School of Medicine.
The company applied its expertise and experience in the latest access control solutions, including lever and pull handles, locks, cylinders, closers and floor springs, as well as relevant accessories, to safeguard students, resources, equipment and furniture.
The project could not have successfully progressed had it not been for the contribution of-and collaboration between architect company Axel Dainat Architects, the quantity surveyor Richard Frankle & Partners, the main contractor China Jiangsu International Namibia Ltd., civil engineering firm WML Consulting Engineers and electrical/ mechanical consultants Emcon Consulting Engineers.
All doors that feature in this impressive state-of-the-art facility have been equipped with robust hardware that is built to endure and offer seamless control of environments, especially to effectively control access to expensive equipment and facilities.
Bianca Te Water, Architectural Consultant, dormakaba Namibia, said the Project has been a huge success and a reflection of dormakaba’s level of product expertise and the access control market.
