Copernicus Science Centre – a science centre established in 2005 in Warsaw with a view to propagate and popularise modern scientific communication. Visitors may learn the laws of nature through experiments conducted by themselves at interactive exhibitions. In the years of 2007-2008 the Copernicus Science Centre was granted the award of Popularyzator Nauki (Science Promoter) by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the "Nauka w Polsce" (Science in Poland) Portal of the Polish Press Agency.

dormakaba's contribution to the project
The Copernicus Science Centre is a modern building boasting state-of-the-art technology. External and internal doors are fitted with TS 93 and TS 92 door closers with the Cam Action technology to make the opening of door panels easier. The evacuation safety is ensured by PHA 2000 fittings which are provided for profile doors along emergency routes. Sliding doors installed in passageways with high traffic and reliability requirements are fitted with ES 200 door automation fittings.
