Advanced Training B-COMM

Training goals
After completing the training, the participant is able to install, set up, manage and control B-COMM and to integrate an online application. The participant knows the interfaces for data transfer and can use the control commands correctly.
Target group
Sales representatives, service technicians, system planners, system administrators, people who entrust someone with the installation or are in charge of the installation. 
Requirements
- Technical basic knowledge of network technology, basic knowledge of EAD product portfolio.
- Basic knowledge about data communication, time & attendance, and access.
- Participation in "Start-up Training: EAD product portfolio”
- Participation in “Technical Basic Training: B-COMM"

Advanced Training B-COMM CardLink/Whitelist

Training topics

- Explanation and function of “CardLink" and "Whitelist“
- Introduction of components (terminal / door components)
- Function "validation" and "update"
- Client and settings
- Setup of administration area and door components
- Settings in the terminals (T&A & Access) / reader settings
- Structure of validation and update data records
- Differences between CL 1.0 and CL 1.1 (Kaba elolegic, Kaba evolo)
- Different media/ RFID technologies and their using
- Operation with Kaba programmer 1364 and 1460
- Operation of Kaba desktop reader (B-Net 91 07 / Kaba desktop reader 91 08) /B-COMM badge test tool
- Installation, setup, operation, and configuration of a small CardLink system (with Kaba elolegic or Kaba evolo door components)
- Error handling and troubleshooting

Training goals
After completing the training, the participant knows the Kaba standard CardLink media and he is able to define the fields of the CardLink components, to install them, to set the parameters according to the customer’s requirements and to configure them. The participant can operate and handle the Kaba programmer and gets information on how to analyze validation and update data records. The participant is also able to check access rights by means of the B-COMM CardLink badge test tool and to analyze them. These skills are consolidated in practical exercises.

Advanced Training B-COMM Add on Wireless, CardLink/Whitelist

Training topics

- Basic information Kaba wireless Zigbee
- Absorption and signal level in buildings
- Introduction of Kaba wireless components (Gateway 90 40, Kaba Extender 90 41, etc.)
- Function and settings of actual B-COMM
- Wireless Whitelist function of Kaba evolo door components
- Wireless Cardlink function
- The function of Kaba programmer 14 60
- Installation and setup of a small demo system
- Troubleshooting 
- Practical exercises

Training goals
The participants get knowledge about the Kaba wireless system and components. After the training, he is able to setup Kaba Whitelist Wireless and/or Cardlink wireless system with B-COMM. These skills are consolidated in practical exercises.

Advanced Training B-COMM Add on: Biometry with B-COMM

Training topics

- Description of definition “identification” and “verification”
- Different processes of "template“ enrollment
- Description and explanation of finger data (templates)
- Enrollment stations and equipment
- Local enrollment (license and operation)
- Template administration via B-COMM
- Biometric flag of master records – alternative input
- A download of templates into CBM module
- Write biometric data on user badges (LEGIC/Mifare)
- Different biometric modes and biometric time profiles
- Introduction of different biometric readers and terminals
- Installation, setup, and configuration of a small biometric terminal system
- Introduction of each B-COMM biometric function
- Practical exercises

Training goals
After completing the training, the participant knows Kaba 
biometric fingerprint. He is able to install, set up, manage and control Kaba biometric terminals and biometric templates with  B-COMM.
