Leading in technology

dormakaba, recognized as one of the world's 100 leading technology companies in 2018 by Thomson Reuters

This report identifies the strongest organizations from an operational and financial point of view within the technology industry.

The study, which was carried out for the first time, offers a comprehensive assessment of the most important technology companies today. It uses an algorithm to objectively identify organizations with long-term strength in the current business environment. The methodology used is based on eight main pillars of performance: finance, investor management and confidence, risk and resilience, legal compliance, innovation, people and social responsibility, environmental impact and reputation. The top 100 companies are those whose final results outstrip the other 5,000 technology companies around the world.

"Technology companies operate at a dizzying speed facing competitive, regulatory, legal, financial, supply chain challenges and a myriad of other businesses. Often, their financial success overshadows operational integrity, making it difficult to identify those organizations with real strength for future success, "said Alex Paladino, global CEO of Thomson Reuters. "With the world's top 100 technology leaders, we have identified the unique data points that embody technology industry leadership in the 21st century."

Riet Cadonau, CEO de dormakaba, says::

" We are proud to be featured in this ranking together with companies such as Microsoft, Amazon or IBM. The high scores in the indicators examined in the study are an acknowledgement of our approach to grow sustainably – with a balanced focus on financial performance, innovation and good citizenship".
