Projektgesellschaft Hafenspitze mbH & Co. KG
The Hyatt Regency Düsseldorf is situated in one of two fully glazed towers amid the spectacular architecture of the city’s MedienHafen district. The building complex is defined by its minimalist formal idiom, giving it the visual appearance of a virtual cube. It is part of the “Hafenspitze” project, which is redefining the area’s urban characteristics and architecture to lasting effect.
The design concept for the interior architecture can be classed as innovative. The hotel’s congenial ambience is characterized by straight lines, plenty of natural light, natural materials. The 80-meter-long glass façade looks out onto the harbor. The interior concept for the rooms applies colours and elements from the public areas. High ceilings and large windows endow the rooms with a loft-like ambience.
