Ennepetal, 27/11/2019 – At the digitalBAU 2020 trade fair from 11 to 13 February 2020 in Cologne, dormakaba, your trusted partner for smart and secure access solutions, will present its digital portfolio for secure protection of your buildings and rooms in Hall 7, Booth 411. dormakaba will be exhibiting digital planning tools, platforms and ecosystems that make it easier to plan, design and operate buildings.

These include, for example, the BIM All Doors and dormakaba Orbit360 planning tools, which provide comprehensive support for architects and designers planning doors and access solutions. With the new digital dormakaba Orbit360 planning portal, architects can more easily plan, manage and merge the different trades “at the door”. The collaboration platform simplifies and optimises door list management and enables project-based communication with others involved in the construction. With the augmented reality 3D Entrance app, existing entrance situations can be virtually equipped with the latest dormakaba products. This creates a realistic picture of how the chosen door works in the actual surroundings.

Architects and planners will discover how they can design the networked access solution of tomorrow with open software platforms. Digital platforms and ecosystems that connect companies, processes and people via smartphone with intelligent access management solutions will be presented.
With real-world use cases, it will be shown how easily and flexibly access permissions are transferred to employees, visitors or service providers, e.g. on their smartphones. Using the web-based exivo platform and the integrated API interface, this is also possible for external service providers, as well as with the “jay cloud” solution in the SAP ecosystem.

Visitors will experience a particular highlight with the Virtual Design Center Interactive. With this virtual reality application, specialist visitors will have the opportunity to step into virtual customer segments (such as airports, industry and hotels) and meet with others virtually as avatars in a virtual showroom, speak to one another and view products and solutions from all sides.
